These are perilous times and at Cornerstone we're we are committed to supporting the troops who serve our nation here at home and around the world. We have a prayer and support group that meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Parlor. Come and join us! We especially encourage you to join us if you have a loved one serving overseas.
We also have Military prayer sheets that are included in the bulletin on the 3rd Sunday of each month and in the information racks the rest of the month.
From time to time, we have special events (such as phone card collections, greeting card mailings and holiday goodie box mailings) aimed at reminding the men and women in service that they're in our thoughts throughout the year.
It's that time of the year to Treat Our Troops! We are now collecting homemade cookies, store bought caramel corn, and trail mix in our collection bins throughout the church. Donations are due back November 20. We will be packing boxes and sorting them in Hess Hall on November 20 from 11:30-2:00pm. We will be shipping these out on Monday, November 21.
